The first car I ever bought was a Ford Aspire 1994 model. It was my baby. During my college years in the US I had many adventures with that car. But then came the time for me to go back to Europe and I decided to ship my Aspire.

It made it across the pond and just like I drove it everywhere in the US I drove across Europe with it as well. It stayed with me until I got a company car. But it's run wasn't over yet, it was my wife's turn. She drove it to work and back every day for a couple of years. Then I switched jobs and when we needed to drive two hours to Brussels and two hours back every day it was there for us.

Last year I had to put my Aspire to rest. Not because it failed, not because there was anything wrong with it, but it was done. After 12 years of being together I drove it for the last time and left it with the car demolition guy. He would take good care if it he said.

The Ford Aspire was the first car I really truly loved!
