Mr. Erich Baier was born in 1956 in Vienna, Austria and is owner and CEO of Bilanz-Data Wirtschaftstreuhand GmbH, a tax-law firm in Vienna, which concentrates on domestic as well as international tax-planning and furthermore renders full corporate services to clients. Mr. Baier is member of various international organisations like the IBA and the International Association of Lawyers, the European-American Tax Institute in Europe and is member of the Global Advisory Board of the Asian Offshore Association and was accepted as a member of STEP. Mr. Baier contributed to a loose-leaf series on inheritance tax planning, published by Kluwer International and a loose-leaf series on International Succession Laws published by Tolleys. Furthermore he contributed to a loose-leaf series about taxation of international sportsmen published by Nolot BV and to a loose-leaf about Individual and Corporate Taxation, working out the Austrian Chapter which will be published in London in fall 2010.

Francis J. Vassallo graduated BA (Hons.) Econ. from the Royal University of Malta in 1970. He occupied several senior positions with Chase Manhattan Bank worldwide in his 25 year career with Chase. He was a Board Member of several Chase subsidiaries in Luxembourg, the Channel Islands and Spain. He was General Manager of Chase Manhattan Bank in Spain between 1987 and 1991 responsible for the setting-up of Private Banking as well as the Capital Markets in Spain for Chase. He was also General Manager of Chase Private Bank Switzerland until September 1993. In September 1993 he was appointed Governor of the Central Bank of Malta -- a position that he held until September 1997. During that period Mr. Vassallo played an extremely important role in the restructuring of Malta's banking and financial system and also contributed in establishing Malta as a world-class Financial Centre. During these years, Mr Vassallo spearheaded various legislative changes in preparation for Malta's entry into the EU, including the new Banking Act and the amended Central Bank Act as well as assisting on the preparation of the legislation on the Investment Services Act and Capital Markets and the enactment of Anti-Money Laundering Legislation in Malta. During his tenure as Governor, Mr Vassallo was a founding member of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). Jacob Hoogenboom is Managing Director at the Moscow representative office of the Intertrust group since April 2009. His responsibilities include marketing, market development and client retention management for the entire CIS region. Prior to his current function, Jacob worked in the Luxembourg office of Intertrust in a number of positions, most recently as deputy team leader. In that position, he was partly responsible for the daily management of an operational team dealing with a large number of client files. Education Jacob Hoogenboom graduated from the University of Luxembourg / NYU Stern and received his Masters degree in Finance & Banking in 2007. He also holds a Masters degree in Accounting & Control, obtained from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2006. Prior to this, Jacob studied social sciences as well as business administration. He holds Bachelor degrees from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in both. Interests Apart from his work, Jacob takes a strong interest in history and geography. He has a particular interest in Russia and travelled extensively throughout the country on various occasions. In his free time, he likes to travel both within and around the city and visit sites of historical importance.

Mr. Aditya Tiwari graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi in the year 1995. He thereafter persued a degree in law from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. Mr. Tiwari is engaged in active practice of law since December 1999. Untill 2004 Mr. Tiwari adviced and represented several corporates on issues relating to product liability, minority shareholders' rights, exit strategies, labour laws, international commercial arbitration and indirect taxes.
