Comparing to pioneer, which navigation was horrendous and slow, Tom Tom is seamless, sounds pleasing and nearly 100% accurate. Occassionally on a free way it will show me taking the off ramp if i am in the first lane but quickly corrects itself. The navigation would be 100% perfect if i could search POI and call directly from the menu instead of it displaying just the phone number. As with the rest of the reviews, the menu is clunky. I dread having to change playlists on my ipod and setting it back to shuffle, every time. There is a bug with setting FM radio stations as it doesn't display the frequency but for me it displays the current information display. Like if Bruno Mars was playong on 94.1 and i programmed 94.1 to preset 1. Preset one would display Bruno instead of 94.1. Annoying. The unit boots up quickly and ipod starts playing fairly fast as well. Another gripe is that it only charges the iPod when iPod is selected. The USB has to be read EVERY time you select that source and can be fairly annoying as well. Bluetooth connects within seconds so i mostly use that with my iPhone 4. Another thing about the iPhone 4.
